Las Vegas Chambers and Business Groups Unite for 6th Annual Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer

The 6th annual Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer®, a collaboration of local chambers of commerce and business organizations, was held September 22, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in Downtown Las Vegas. With over 1600 people in attendance and over 125 exhibitor booths, this year’s event was one of the biggest in years!

This “mega-networking” event provided the opportunity for businesses to foster new relationships, build business leads and gain a better knowledge of the vast amount ofbusiness networking groups based in the Las Vegas area. More than a dozen area chambers of commerce and business organizations, including industry leaders as well as networking groups, participated as sponsors.

“With the economy the way it is these days, your network is basically all you have to rely on,” said event supporter, Joel Jarvis of The LINK Las Vegas. “Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer® is the premier local networking mixer. The Mixer was a unique event that allowed hundreds of different industries and thousands of individuals to experience the pinnacle of networking, all while spreading the word on their respective products and services. Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer® VI VIP Kick-Off Event a Huge Success!

Wednesday, September 1, 2010 marked the VIP Kick-Off Event for Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer® VI. Each Largest Mixer® VIP Kick-Off Event is specifically designed to not only pass out information regarding the main event, but also to give our sponsors and exhibitors an exclusive networking opportunity of their own. This year, the Kick-Off was held at Charlie Palmer Steak at the Four Seasons Hotel.

To start, let me just say that the venue was nothing short of pure class. Everything from decor to staff was outstanding. Most importantly, the food at Charlie Palmer Steak was delicious. Fancy hors d’oeuvres and what I can only describe as little chocolate moose bites wrapped in a hard chocolate shell were absolutely phenomenal! In terms of attendance, who can complain about a room of over 150 networkers who were all serious about making connections, but even more serious about having a good time? The energy in the room was almost palpable.

We’d like to extend a very special thank you to our Kick-Off sponsors: Fair Solutions, Inc., Administaff, and the Charlie Palmer Group. Your help was invaluable in making the VIP Kick-Off Event possible. Also, individual recognition of Richard Femenella and Rick Becker of the Charlie Palmer Group is also in order. All-in-all, we couldn’t be happier with how the Las Vegas’ Largest Mixer® VI VIP Kick-Off Event turned out. Irvine Chamber of Commerce Hosts Network Orange County

Held on August 19, 2010, Network Orange County drew in hundreds of business professionals from all around Orange County for some fantastic referral and networking opportunities. The event was held at the Atrium Hotel, OC Airport in the poolside cabanas. In terms of venue, it’s hard to argue with networking poolside on a warm and sunny day in Orange County. We had an awesome time walking around and meeting everyone in attendance, all while basking in the great weather.

As I’m sure you can see, this was a pretty idyllic summertime networking affair. Business networking shifts into high gear with Inland Empire’s Largest Mixer® IV, bringing together local businesses representing hundreds of industries and companies in the Inland Empire.

The goal of Inland Empire’s Largest Mixer®IV is to encourage membership in one or several chambers of commerce, allowing businesses to grow based on a wider network of support. The mixer also provides a chance for businesses to network with one another for mutual support. Businesses and individuals do not have to be affiliated with a chamber to attend the Mixer.

Inland Empire’s Largest Mixer® is scheduled for Wednesday, October 27, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at the Ontario Convention Center, 2000 E. Convention Center Way, Ontario, CA 91764. Fairplex Pomona Teams Up with Chambers to Host 6th Annual Joint Chamber Mixer

The Fairplex Pomona, to celebrate the beginning of the L.A. County Fair, joined up with the Chino Valley Chamber of Commerce, Claremont Chamber of Commerce, Glendora Chamber of Commerce, La Verne Chamber of Commerce, Pomona Chamber of Commerce, San Dimas Chamber of Commerce, Upland Chamber of Commerce, and the Regional Chamber of Commerce, San Gabriel Valley on August 10, 2010 for the 6th Annual Joint Chamber Mixer. With the combined efforts of the Fairplex and so many fantastic chambers, it came to no surprise that the mixer was as lively and bustling as it was. Members of all the different chambers were given the opportunity to meet one another, network, and discover potential business opportunities outside of their own cities.

This year the joint mixer was held at Finish Line Sports Grill in Pomona, CA. In our humble opinion, this was pretty much the perfect venue for the joint mixer. The atmosphere was cool but relaxed, the bar was well-stocked, and the food was nothing short of outstanding. With weekly specials, live entertainment, and an abundant supply of cold, crisp beer, this would be your ideal venue to come out, relax, and enjoy the game of your choice on over 70 (yes I said 70) flat-screen TVs.
